This is a sweet thai dessert that is kind of a cross between a cake, a custard, và a jelly. It is sweet, slightly creamy, and topped with fresh grated coconut meat. It is one of the easier thai desserts lớn make, and doesn’t need very many ingredients.

Usually these desserts will be steamed wrapped in banana leaves, however if you are outside Asia, banana leaves will probably be hard to lớn find, so you could just use any mould that is suitable for steaming. It is also important to use ripe bananas as this will make the dessert sweeter và smoother.

Cooking instructions


Step 1: Peel 2 ripe bananas & place them in a mixing bowl, then mash them until they as smooth as you can get them.

Step 2: Then add 50% cup of coconut cream, 3 phần tư cup of sugar, 1/8 cup of potato flour, 1/2 cup of rice flour, & 3/4 cup of grated coconut meat lớn the bowl, và stir until everything is completely mixed together.

Step 3: Now spoon the mixture into some moulds that are suitable for steaming, and then steam them for 30 minutes on a high heat.

Step 4: After 30 minutes, remove them from the steamer, and sprinkle the remaining grated coconut meat over the top of the cakes, and then serve và enjoy! This dessert is best eaten fresh from the steamer.
