A popular Taiwanese side dish & one of my personal favorite late-night snacks, Spicy Garlic Pig Ears.

The outer texture is soft, while the inside is slightly crunchy from the cartilage.

Spicy Garlic Pig Ears is the perfect snack because when tossed with the spicy garlic sauce, the pig ear soaks up all the garlicky flavor but still tastes refreshing and not greasy.

I blend up all the garlic, spices, & herbs to lớn take this chili oil to another level.

You can prepare Spicy Garlic Pig Ears in bulk & enjoy it as a late-night snack for a week.

The longer you store the pig ears with the sauce, the more flavourful the dish becomes. Store the pig ears in an air-tight container in the fridge for up lớn 5 days.

You can also freeze the pig ears và defrost it overnight to lớn enjoy. You don’t need to heat the Spicy Garlic Pig Ears as you can enjoy it cold, but if you prefer it hot, you can also do so.

Ingredients 

5 Pig Ears 10 cloves garlic 4 thin slices ginger 2 stalks green onion 2 tablespoon sugar 2-3 cất cánh leaf 3 star anise Spicy Garlic Sauce 2 stalks green onion, chopped 10 cloves garlic, chopped ½ tablespoon sesame seeds 4 tablespoon vegetable oil 
In a pot, showroom pig ears, Sichuan peppercorn, garlic, ginger, green onion, vegetarian oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, bay leaf, and star anise.Fill the pot with 4-5 cups of water, or enough to lớn cover all the pig ears.Bring it khổng lồ a simmer, put the lid on, và cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.Remove the pig ears, and let them cool down while you prepare the sauce.For the sauce, in a large bowl, địa chỉ cửa hàng vegetarian oyster sauce, soy sauce, chopped green onion, chopped garlic, Korean red chili flakes, sesame seeds, & homemade chili oil.Heat 4 tablespoons of oil, and once the oil is hot, drizzle the oil over the sauce mixture, let it sizzle, & mix well.Once the pig ears are safe to touch, cut them in half & into strips. Drizzle the garlic sauce all over the pig ears, toss everything together và garnish with cilantro.
