Vietnamese dipping sauce


Nuoc Cham is a Vietnamesedipping sauce that is salty, sweet & sour. It"s an all-purpose condiment made with fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, garlic và chilies. Serve it on rice vermicelli noodle (bun) bowls, và fresh spring rolls (goi cuon).

Ingredients you"ll needfish sauce: use a high-quality fish sauce for the best flavour; I personally use Red Boatlime juice: freshly squeezed is best; you can substitute with trắng vinegar or bottled lime juicegranulated sugar: or any sweetener you likehot water: to dissolve the sugarcool or room temperature watergarlic: mincedred thai chilies: minced, optional

In a small bowl, combine together hot water và sugar.

Stir until the sugar dissolves.

Add in fish sauce, cool/room temperature water and lime juice.

Next, add in the garlic & Thai chili.
