Fried banana roll, aka Turon, is a popular Filipino snack that has the perfect combination of a golden crispy shell and creamy, caramelized fillings. They are also super easy to make and I adapted the recipe for an air fryer version.

Spring rolls but sweet edition! The same golden, crispy, crunchy bite but instead of savory fillings I used bananas for these - which instantly turns spring rolls into an easy, satisfying dessert & sweet snack! This recipe originates in the Philipines và traditionally, the rolls are deep-fried & the fillings can also include jackfruit, mango, and coconut.

To make them less greasy and more summer-friendly (after all, it"s not so fun to stand in front of a boiling oil pot in this 100°F weather), I adapted the recipe và made them in my air fryer, và they came out perfectly golden và crispy with much less oil!

For serving, I went with the most classic option và made vegan salted caramel sauce with only two ingredients! It"s so rich, sweet, và creamy and definitely makes the banana rolls even more irresistible. You can also serve them with chocolate sauce instead and with some ice cream!

These miso eggplants are seared, glazed, & finally baked to perfection. They're literally bursting with umami, juicy, savory, tenderer than a baby's cheek, & just melt in your mouth. They're definitely a rice-killer - meaning so much rice is gonna be devoured up with this flavorful & addicting dish. But they're also lovely just on their own. Eggplant is one of my absolute favorite vegetables growing up, even during my fussy eating teenager years I never ever turned my back on eggplants. And rightfully so. They have such an amazing texture plus a chất lượng aroma. Scoring the eggplant really helps release the yummy potential of them, the texture will get cooked tender và soft easier và the scored patterns will soak up the sauce and glaze all the way from đứng top to the skin. & if being downright delicious is not enough, eggplant is also a very humble & easy ingredient to use, I can't even imagine how eggplants can ever go wrong. When I was little, sometimes my mo
